"Excellent service"

About: Witney Community Hospital

Having contacted 111 my husband was given an appt. at the hospital at 6pm yesterday as he was concerned that, in spite of antibiotics prescribed by his doctor, his condition was getting worse. We were seen by the doctor within 10 minutes of this appointment time. The doctor was excellent, gave my husband a thorough examination, listened carefully to his symptoms and comments and took care to prescribe medication taking into account my husband's allergies to certain medications.

There are many derogatory comments made about the NHS but those of us able to use the facilities of this hospital are extremely lucky and this doctor , and their colleagues who have attended to us in the past, can not be praised highly enough for their professionalism and care
