"Could not have been treated any better"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I visited a&e regarding a chest infection which was not improving after 2 weeks

On my arrival I was seen by the triage nurse who noted all my relevant details

My case was then passed to the nursing staff who arranged blood samples, an xray, blood pressure checks at regular intervals and a heart scan

I was then sent to ward 2 where the staff were equally attentive and caring.

Later in the day the ward doctor came to see me after studying my case and diagnosed my problem an issued me with the appropriate medication and expert advice.

Personally I could not have been treated any better and my thanks goes to all the various departments who looked after me.
