About: Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath)

My husband was feeling very unwell, we went the A&E Dept. at Princess Royal, after giving details of his symptoms his was taken straight away in and hooked up to various machines, blood taken etc.

they then discoverd that he had had a mild heart attack, he was kept in overnight, then next day transfereed to Sussex County in Brighton.

There he had an angingram, after that he then had a stent fitted, stayed the night, then discharged the next day. So after only 30 hours he was home and feeling a lot better then he had for quite a few years.

We cannot thank the staff enough for the care and attention we received, and are truly grateful.

Dear Gerry

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback about your husband's experience in A&E at PRH and the cardiac department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. I am delighted to hear that it was positive and speedy. I have passed your comments onto the teams involved in your care, I know that they will really appreciate your kind words.

I hope that he is recovering well.

Best wishes

Caroline Davies

Deputy Chief Nurse
