"Referral after car accident"

I was involved in a car accident a short while ago.

A&E told me to come back if I am unwell, they advised a referral to a neurologist.

I was not well 111 advised me to go back to A&E, it was weekend so my GP referred me .The letter dated 17 March, with UBRN number arrived very quick.

I called for an appointment which was not available because the consultant made no notes .

I called next day,I was told the same thing.

I called today to find out that the consultant neurologist sent my referral back to my GP for more information. What was the appointment for,than?

In the meantime I am stuck in the house.being afraid to go out,I have moments when I do not know were I am, I am shaking,weakness in both legs,incredible back pain in the back of my head,my back pain is excruciating,I suffer from sciatica...there is along list of simptoms.How much information is needed?Shall I go back to A&E because there is no other way to get help.Please can you advise?
