"Gastroscopy - Day Care"

About: Goring Hall Hospital

Having now experienced this procedure in Goring Hall I hope I never have to go back to Worthing Hospital for another.

From the moment I arrived in reception to the time I left I have nothing but kindness and consideration showed me by all the staff on duty from my nurse/the anaesthetist and the consultant who were excellent and the whole ambience of the day care unit put me at ease.

Thank you so much for everything.

My daughter who came with me was able to stay with me right up to the last minute before I went in for the procedure and was treated equally well by the staff in supplying her with coffee during the waiting period.

The member of staff who came round with a menu for me to pick what I wanted to eat when I came round was equally lovely.

What a pity the NHS isn't like this - we should all be able to experience the way I was treated that day under NHS Choices.
