"Such an efficient service with smiling staff"

About: Southampton General Hospital

I have had to visit Southampton hospital on 2 occasions once with my husband to the allergy clinic and again with my daughter to the neurology department.

On both occasions we were met in the waiting area by the consultant we were due to see and taken to the consultation room. Time was taken on both occasions to take details and explain the conditions and what investigations will need to take place and what medications will need to be taken.

At no time were we rushed and there was time make at the end to go over questions.

When my daughter and I came for our appointment we were a little lost, then a nurse approached us and asked if we were ok, when we explained we were unsure of the way then the nurse kindly showed us the route we should be taking.

For a hospital which is like a small city the service is so efficient and the staff that we dealt with are caring with a smile.

Thank you Southampton hospital for taking care of my family when needed.
