Everything concerning my treatment at the Northern General after a heart attack, from arrival of the paramedic team through to the transfer to coronary care and Firth 7 to discharge was carried out with every care and consideration.
I have nothing but praise for everyone and everything concerned with my treatment.
I was particularly impressed with the day nursing staff. They were often under pressure, being made to attend to difficult patients and cleaning facilities, throughout they responded with the greatest kindness and consideration.
The only area crying out for improvement concerns the arrangement for car parking. It is grossly inadequate for visitors and out-patients. It detracts from the kindness met elsewhere.
Thank you to the nursing staff on Coronary Care and the team of doctors and technicians who carried out the various tests and examinations.
Also thank you to the paramedics for their speed and expertise.
