"Complaints not resolved"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Complained about problems with Wheelchair Clinic yet heard nothing back. Usually in the local paper with articles about complaints, yet you can't comment on any story about the hospital (not a coincidence ) i feel. Understaffed and complaints just swept under the carpet with no resolution I feel. Why do I always have to be the one to do the chasing up because I don't hear anything back?

I am sorry to hear that you have had a problem with the Wheelchair service and that you complained but had no response. I have spoken to the Complaint’s Department and they have no record of a formal complaint about the Wheelchair service so I am not sure to whom you raised your concerns. The Complaint’s Department would welcome the opportunity to investigate your concerns and I would be grateful if you could either contact them directly on 01553 613890 or contact me so that I can address the matter myself.
