Despite several appointments each time being asking to weigh the person I care for not hoist available. Staff even suggested I lift my client as they due to health and safety were not allowed to. I refused on every occasion and still despite visiting again recently still no hoisting facilities to enable weighing to be done. This is an important part of evaluating dosage of medication but still after 3 years not able to do this at the outpatients clinic.
When are the NHS Trust going to take disability seriously and provide basic equipment to ensure proper care of disabled patients.
