I had an appointment at the Dermatology department at 9.20 on 3/3/16 I was seen by the consultant who determined that I needed to have a growth on my leg removed. The consultant asked one of the nurses to find out if minor procedures were being carried out on the same day. A different nurse came back to say that it may be possible to fit me in at the end of the list and they were happy to stay a little later. I was then taken to see another consultant who looked carefully down their list and decided that it may be possible to fit me in at the end of the list. I was asked to go home but to be available. I was then phoned at approximately 14.10 and asked to proceed to JPH which I did immediately. I arrived and the procedure was carried out. I also had issues regarding reactions to local anesthetic which was dealt with using a different type. All in all I feel that I could not have been served any better by the hospital and specifically by the consultants and their nurse, who was so enthusiastic. Please pass on my thanks . Trevor Ludkin
