"Exceptional Care."

About: Rowley Regis Hospital

I was recently referred to the Primary Care Assessment & Treatment Centre at Rowley Regis Hospital due to an inflamed and painful varicose vein in my right leg. Only hours after seeing my GP I received a call from the unit at Rowley offering me an appointment the next morning for my legs to be assessed. On arrival I received a very friendly welcome and was seen on time. The tests and assessments were very thorough and everything was clearly and carefully explained. The tests showed the possibility of a clot and I was within minutes offered an appointment for a scan at Sandwell Hospital.. Within 24 hours the scan was done and, thankfully, showed a good blood flow with no clot. A couple of days after the scan I received a phone call from the nurse who had conducted the test to see if I had any concerns and giving me a contact number in case I should I should have any questions at a later date. I honestly don't think that I could have received better care anywhere and am very grateful to the staff at Rowley for the excellent way in which I was treated.
