On the 15th March 2016 I had a hysterectomy.
This was done by robotic surgery and went exceedingly well.
My surgeon explained everything from the start and afterwards came to see me again.
All staff put me at ease as, obviously, I was quite frightened and I was discharged within 48 hours of the operation. Prior to discharge one of the nurses talked my husband through giving me my daily injection he was going to carry on doing.
On discharge my husband got a wheelchair and one of the H.C.A.s on the Acute Dependency Unit took control of it and myself so that my husband could bring the car right outside the hospital doors.
I can't thank everyone enough for all their care and support during this time.
I feel I am improving now even more each day.
Thank you to all who have helped with my success.
"Admiration and thanks for staff"
