"Micarriage"

About: Princess Royal University Hospital (Orpington)

I was 6 weeks pregnant and experiencing bleeding and cramping knowing it was a miscarriage I went to the urgent care centre at Pruh. On arrival I saw the streaming nurse and explained what was happening, that I was miscarrying. I was sent back to the waiting room where I was left for 4 and a half hours before a doctor came from another department to see me. I believe leaving a woman who's experiencing a miscarriage for that length of time in a waiting area is absolutely ridiculous and to be honest unacceptable. If a lady was 20 weeks gone would they have been left the same amount of Time?

The doctor saw me and explained I had a urine infection then had a look at my vagina and confirmed my miscarriage. And sent me on my way, obviously I was heart broken and me and my partner crying as we got to my car they then rang me and asked me to go back to them as they forgot to give me my anti biotics for my urine infection. Ridiculous.

Then a week later I was requested to go back in as something showed up weird in the tissue that they took from the miscarriage. The doctor requested I go there immediately and do a pregnancy test, they said on the phone I could go do a test straight away there with them as I explained I had my son I needed to pick up from school then more then likely I could leave. So I left work went to the hosp then to be sent to wait in the urgent care centre waiting room again for an hour a half just to do a pregnancy test. Luckily everything was fine so I left.

Then today three weeks on I went to the urgent care centre as I still have a urine infection, I was quoted as every other patient was an hour and a half. I arrived at 945 and was seen at 1415. Other patients who booked in after me were seen before me.

I really don't understand the system here.
