"Mishandled treatment - twice"

About: Dilke Memorial Hospital

I really want to give this hospital a high rating but cannot. Both times members of my family (myself and my daughter) have attended with suspected fractures we have been mishandled. Triage, x-rays and analysis on both occasions were done within an hour so that aspect of our treatment was superb. However, in my case they sent me away telling me my hand wasn't broken, only to ring back three or four days later saying "oh sorry, it is broken afterall." In my daughter's case they spotted the fracture and gave it a temporary cast, saying that she would be referred to Gloucester for an appointment to cast it properly. After 4 days of waiting, we rang them up having not heard anything back. After an hour waiting for a return call they rang back saying "we're really sorry but the fax was never sent!" Next time we'll go elsewhere.
