"Highly inefficient management for appointments!"

About: Central Middlesex Hospital

I received an Appointment Letter today when I reached home in the evening at 6:30 pm, from the Radiology Clinical Head ( Radiology Department), Central Middlesex Hospital, NW10 7NS, scheduled for 17th March 2016 at 5 pm! And on top of that the letter warns the patient in the first paragraph that " It is important that you confirm the appointment at least 36 hours in advance- Failure to which may result in appointment cancellation! 36 hours prior would be 15th march! According to the envelope, this letter was dispatched by second class post on the 15th march 2016! How on earth can someone confirm the appointment if the letter is received so late. I could not even attend the appointment because the time had already passed by the time the letter reached me! This is ridiculous and highly inefficient. Such a delay has caused me a great delay of inconvenience and a further delay in my treatment. This MRI was important as the painful injury effects my day to day life. Very Disappointed!
