"Inhuman pain and lost of my notes"

About: The Royal London Hospital

I have delivered a baby at Whitchapel hospital in October 2015. Since then I have been waiting for the promised check up and consultation with an obstetrician but without success, although I have left several voice messages in the postnatal unit mailbox.

My placenta was attached to the uterus and was manually detached. The agony I have lived - I almost fainted from pain.

I am questioning what was the type of the placenta attachment? Increta placenta? Why on earth they didn't detached it in the theatre under anesthesia but just manually with the help of a nurse that was pushing strongly on my belly? Epidural wasn't working anymore and they knew it by the way I was screaming of pain while they were trying to push my uterus back while I was conscious!

Interesting is that my discharge papers don't contain a word about the placenta complication or about the type of the placenta attachment to the uterus. Why is this?

I would like to know.

They wrote that I lost 2.4 litres of blood. I know it's because of what happened but no details are mentioned. I would like to obtain details for my personal records in case I would like to have a second child and perhaps try to avoid this torture again. Nobody offered me psychological appointment to go over what happened again and I can tell you I think about it all the time!

I have been promised a check up and consultation back in the hospital. No one ever contacted me again about the terrible experience. Until today I cry when someone wants me to explain my birth. Ask who does the tongue tie cut in the postnatal unit. I am not ok and I need explanations.

Why they put in my discharge papers I don't need / want help I don't know if I am waiting for it since I came from the hospital back home. PALS tried to connect me with the midwifery team. A midwife called me to tell me they cant find my notes?!

Until today I have no response.
