I came in as a day case for a carpal tunnel op on Wednesday 24th February.
From my arrival until my discharge I felt the care I received was excellent.
I was greeted in the surgical reception and immediately saw a nurse who was friendly and helpful.
My surgeon came in to see me, and then their colleague clerked me in.
On heading up to theatre the healthcare assistance did their best to ensure people were relaxed.
In the theatre everyone ensured I was comfortable, and then in recovery all staff were friendly and highly professional.
I had a long wait as the hospital was full and no-one could move on, but was kept informed and comfortable throughout.
I feel this was customer/clinical care at its best.
Thank you.
