"Tumour removal"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I was admitted to LCC last March for a tracheostomy and removal of a cancerous tumour on my vocal cords.I had my successful operation and subsequent 6 week course of RT treatment and Chemotherapy and have recently been given the all-clear by the specialists.I spent 7 weeks in the Clayton ward and have nothing but praise for my treatment and the staff who cared for me and encouraged me when I was at my lowest ebb.I can't thank and praise you all enough.

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

This means a great deal to the team on Clayton Ward, who strive to deliver high quality, compassionate care at all times. To know that we have made a difference to a patient with head and neck cancer is a huge morale boost to the whole team.

I will share the feedback via our ward Twitter account, with the ENT doctors and at our next ward meeting. Best wishes for your continued recovery.
