"Concerns about children's A&E"

My daughter was taken to A&E last night due to a high temperature and vomiting. We were taken to see a nurse and we were put in a cubicle. She was given nurofen. After that she threw up and we were just left there. No one told me what was going on and there was no one around to ask for help.

We had to wait for 4 hours to see the doctor and I feel that the waiting time was an absolute joke. My daughter had thrown up on the bed and she was not given new sheets. This shows a lack of care and compassion and no one seemed interested. I had to ask for the basic of care. Fortunately she is fine but I dread to think what happened if she had been seriously ill. I am not sure we would have been taken seriously.

I really do not want to go back to this hospital again.
