"Hospital food awful"

About: East Surrey Hospital

(as the patient),

The hospital food was awful. I survived on Weetabix and food brought in by my partner. I would say 90 % of what was served up got thrown away.

Tasteless pap with human hair in the soup is not conducive to a speedy recovery. The catering manager at East Surrey Hospital should see this.

Medical care was faultless.

Dear Bletchman

I'm really sorry that you feel that you have had such a poor experience with our catering services. Our chefs and managers are always very happy to meet with patients who are struggling with their meal choices. It is so important to us to understand how we let you down in more detail and our Catering Manager Caroline Given would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you, if you are willing. She can be contacted initially by email at caroline.given@sash.nhs.
