"Receptionist hygiene concerns"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

(as the patient),

The receptionist took my name and asked me to take a seat in the waiting area next to her desk. I ask her these seats here? She replied yes. So I took a seat, I was sat there when I witnessed her sat reading a magazine and picking her nose several times! She did not wash her hands or use gel to clean her fingers, as she did not use a tissue. She then touched all items behind the desk, telephone, computer, door handles. I strongly beleive she should be made aware of infection control and how infections are spread.
