"The neurology department is terrible!"

About: Kettering General Hospital

I feel that I have been treated very poorly by the neurology department, the service they provide is very poor.

I'm left long times between appointments with little or no communication and no one ever answers the telephone or returns the calls when you leave a voicemail.

I was left a long time without an appointment after I was told that the consultant was 'almost certain' there was cancer spread in my brain (there wasn't). When I finally was diagnosed with a condition, I wasn't even given as much as an information leaflet to take home! The customer service aspect is disgusting.

I have been treated for cancer at Kettering General and I can't praise those departments enough for all of their treatment and support. The neurology department could learn a few things about organisation and basic manners from those other departments!
