Don't bother taking your own prescribed medication in. You hand it over to a nurse who locks it in your bedside cupboard and does not bother to record it, and then you don't get any of your own medication when you should be taking it.
When you have had surgery and groggy from anaesthetic and throwing up from anaesthetic and in serious pain from surgery you would expect to be cared for.
