"being told today then nothing"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

my husband was transfered from the royal derby on saturday to have a procuder done on his icd ,as i can't get over to see him we have to just speak on the phone,he was told last night by staff that he was going down for this in the morning then to be told no sorry ,then ward round comes and he is then told you are having it done this afternoon at 2pm then to be left till 3p to be told no sorry its not happening ,so my husband has had nothing to eat or drink all day .he is also diabetic doesnt help .hopefully he will get it done before the week is out so he can come home
