"Car parking"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I have driven from TN12 to Medway on 2 occasions in the last 10 days for a blood test, this afternoon being the latest occasion.

I have had to leave and drive home as I was unable to get a space to park.

The queues for both of the public car parks were long with signs saying no spaces available.

Not only have I wasted a huge amount of my own time, used fuel to get there I have still not been able to get my monthly blood tests completed which our requested by a consultant at the Trust.

There should be someone from facilities to assist with parking when it becomes difficult I also suggest that some staff parking should be sacrificed at peak times to assist with visitor and patient parking.

Most NHS hospitals have limited parking for staff now and this should be encouraged.
