"Broken Foot Waiting Time For Operation"

I broke my foot back in December and its still broken and causing me nothing but ongoing problems. I still can't walk on my foot and had to go to A&E yesterday as my foot had swollen up twice the size, gone purple & making me feel generally unwell. I just want to get back to normal and on my feet. But I have another appointment with the doctor on 21 March & then gotta wait to have it operated on to repair the broken foot, as not heeling on its own. But I don't want to wait yet again for another appointment and can't understand why I have to wait so long. Please can you not see if can just book me in for the operation on 21st instead of me coming back up, told still broken, which I know anyway, then booking me in later on?
