I had to wait a long while for the ambulance after my fall. I became tired of hanging around waiting for transport.
Having said that the care and patience of the staff was amazing. And I would like to thank the ambulance crew who were always patient and helpful.
We spent a long time waiting for the ambulance, it was over two hours and on returning home waited again from 7.45pm until 11.15pm, we were taken to a short term ward and given drinks and toast while waiting for the return ambulance, which we much appreciated.
Once again the nursing care and the doctors were excellent.
