"My daughter was seen in the childrens ..."

What I liked

My daughter was seen in the childrens centre for hip problems and, having had some bad experiences at other NHS hospitals, I must say this one was a delight- from the atmosphere in the waiting room, time to be seen (expect xray), the staff, the appointment system etc.

What could be improved

Either a shorter wait at xray or an appointment time to co-incide with our appointment to see the doctor. Having to wait over an hour with a two year old is not much fun - especially in the xray waiting room where ther are elderly people left on trolleys crying out for nurses etc - very negative experience of a hospital for a two year old and very likely to frighten.

Anything else?

Shame that the hospital was downgraded. Feel sorry for the people of Canterbury and surronding towns who have to travel so far to Margate/Ashford for emergencies etc.
