"Uncaring"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

This is an awful hospital. Was admitted to A&E with a fever. Asked for a blanket and pillow and was refused. They put a cannula right in the crook of my elbow this caused the vein into which it was inserted to become irritated. They gave me antibiotics at 3am which caused me to immediately vomit. Nurse just gave me a bowl and walked away as I was retching my guts out. Transferred to a ward the next day. Staff stuck needles into me including into the tendons in the back of my hand. 4 days later I asked for the cannula to in the crook of my elbow to removed because it was infected and 6 hours later they took it out. Different Doctors every day asking me the same question absolutely no continuity of care.

Horrible hospital - steer clear - you have a choice as to which hospital you go to,
