Having suffered with extreme pain over the weekend this was the only place I could be seen quickly on a Monday morning. My GP had no appointments and I did not want to go to Wythenshawe A&E as I did not feel my problem was an "accident or an emergency".
I was offered the very best and thorough care. I needed an Xray, my GP would not have been able to see the whole picture promptly even if I had been able to get an appointment.
With the stronger pain relief prescribed at Trafford and the reassurance that I do not have an underlying problem I will return to work tomorrow.
The Trafford team there diagnosed viral arthritis last year and referred me on, something my GP had failed to do despite 2 visits.
They sorted me out on that occasion and have done it again this time. This is a fantastic resource that should be supported.
