arrived at 20:00 for attention to a small cut above the eye got during rugby match.
2 stitches probably
booked in quickly by 1 of 2 administrators (ok so far)
waited an hour to see a nurse...confirmed wound needed gluing...could the nurse do it? no that would be too easy and efficient
waited another 3 1/2 hours to see a Dr...they confirmed wound needed gluing...perhaps the doctor could do it? no that would be just too efficient
waited another 30 minutes for a nurse..thankfully they spent the 5 mins necessary to glue my wound
so 5 hours and 4 staff to address the most trivial cut.
all the staff were very polite/ professional....but would any organisation in the private sector have such a labour intensive approach...No ..they couldnt afford it...but the NHS can it seems
