"Amazing staff and care of Gyne Department"

I would just like to say I came to Burnley General Gyne unit for my vaginal hysterectomy on Friday 4th March 2016, despite the heavy snow everything went ahead . I only had to wait 6 weeks for my appointment . I was under the care of two amazing consultants. I cannot thank both these consultants enough on the care I received and the treatment I had. From start to finish it was a fantastic experience , all staff lovely and caring , excellent facilities and extremely clean . The pain after the operation was Nil and no sickness . The recovery process extremely easy compared to what people told me to expect . I was discharged on Sunday morning after 2 night stay in hospital and medication free by the Monday . Everything was explained every step of the way . I've been lucky enough in my life to experience private health care in the past but this NHS care was second to none . To all the consultants and all the members of staff I met , thank you for everything you did , I'm forever thank you for giving me my life back. I can't Thankyou all enough .
