I was admitted to Warrington Hospital Gynaecology on 9th March. In all honesty I was reluctant to go when my GP send me to A&E due to bad experiences I’ve had with this hospital in the past.
I was in pain, very unwell and frightened. When I got there I expected to be turned away with pain killers, however the staff were absolutely fantastic! Following triage they immediately found me somewhere to lie down and got me on IV pain relief. The lovely doctor on A&E examined me and quickly managed to find me a bed in gynae. Once transported there, the gynaecologist was waiting for me. They quickly arranged scans and tests over the next day and the nurses did a fantastic job at caring for me and reassuring me. The ward was clean, bright and peaceful and I was treated with dignity and respect the whole time; despite the teams in both areas being visibly short staffed. Now I’m on the mend and can’t say thank you enough!
"Thank You"
