"Excellent patient care"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Referred to Crosshouse A & E Dept. Within ten minutes I was assessed by the Triage Nurse and passed on to the Physiotherapist from Orthopaedics. She made the initial assessment, organised an X-Ray and bloods prior to a doctor from Orthopaedics coming down to A & E. They continued the assessment together. Throughout the process I was kept fully informed about what they were doing and why.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of both of them.
