Today I attendied the hospital for a urinary tract ultrasound. Having spent 20 minutes trying to park (I believe my appointment had coincided with visiting time) I arrived in the ultrasound department quite destressed. In preparation for the scan I needed a full bladder and due to my urinary problems I found the pain from this unbearable and feared I may loose control of my bladder. I found some staff and one of the radiographers immediately offered to do my scan to eliviate my distress. Having confirmed the relevant details they immediately carried out the part of the scan requiring a full bladder then allowed me to go to the toilet before finishing the preceedure. The staff were all incredibly helpful and understanding and i would like to give them all a massive thank you for their assistance
