"Bernafon CN7 hearing aids."

At the age of 63 my hearing was starting to fade so a hearing test was arranged vie my doctors surgery.

The test was carried out in a normal room at the surgery with noise clearly audible through the headphones of people walking and talking outside, the software failed at one point when the hearing aids were being setup but this was skipped over.

hearing aids were supplied to me on 1/8/2016.

I used them mostly on the evening to get used to them but they always made a loud hissing noise, so I made an appointments at the Fishponds branch to see what could be done where I was informed they are both burnt out and will be sent back to the manufacturers for repair, 12 days later I collected the aids and was told they have been set up

They were still hissing but not so loud but also the sound was not loud enough that supposed to aid my hearing.

I made another appointment 2/16/2016 this time they were adjusted using a trial and error method the hissing was very low, but when using them at home no sound was coming through except a low hissing sound. I found I could hear better without them.

What a sad waste of NHS money.
