"Ambulance service"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as a relative),

Brought my father home from hospital after surgery to his ankle asked him to hop up into ambulance instead of putting ramp down he is 87.   he fell and had a broken femur for 3 weeks was in tremendous pain then a horrendous drive home.

have complained and had a lot of help from the person who took up the complaint but less than the truth from ambulance personal and managers not happy as this has impacted on my dads life and mobility

shocking

Dear Angel babe

Thank you for sharing your father’s experience of the care we provided to him and your subsequent experience when you complained to us. I am really disappointed that we appear to have let you and you father down and I am truly sorry for this.

Can I ask you to contact me to provide some more details and I will personally look into the case and try and resolve the issues for you. I am out of the office after today until Tuesday 22 March but if you could contact me I will get back to you. My contact details are telephone: 0131 314 0003 or email: martinesposito@nhs.net

Take care

Martin.
