on the 2nd march i went for my first appointment to the pain clinic, we sa there for almost 40min, i believe it was the first appointment, the nurse came out and gave me 2 forms to fill in i just started writing and they came back out and said they wants you in now, i said to them i had not completed the forms they replied it does'nt matter about them so i offered them my urine sample and list of medication they replied i dont want them thats 2years out of date?.
They said they had no information about me so i gave them photo copies of surgeons, doctors letters ect. They took a glance at them reading about my 2 spine operations over the last 16yrs and chronic fibromyalgia diagnosed about 16yrs, for all of which i was retired from work and classed disabled, the surgeons in the letters state they can do no more for me. the doctor turn round and said to me and my wife that they had 5 disc repairs from which they recovered fully ?. also that they had fibromyalgia that they also fully recovered from? i went for my pain not theirs.
They told us that the treatment i was given was wrong for the damage to my spine i should go swimming i replied i dont swim so they said walk in water up to my nipples? for the fibromyalgia i should have been given a blood test for viamin D and i would have been cured?. i asked about the arthritis in my neck they said do some exercises, they were very arragant and rude from when we went in until we left, they complained about the nurse not knowing what they were as they only joined them this morning so they said that they had enough and felt like leaving. not what we wanted to hear, they declined to examine me and sent me for a blood test for vitamin D. we were both disgusted with the treatment i received. and do not want to see that doctor again, i informed my GP
"my worst hospital appointment {painclinic}"
