"i was cold and a lady saw that ..."

About: Stafford Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

i was cold and a lady saw that i had my coat over me trying to keep warm and she said do you want a blanket!

What could be improved

waiting times, cleanliness, more information of what is going on with you or what is going to happen and when.

Anything else?

used spent needles on the floor in cubicle beds should not be there, also my pot of urine i had to leave next to a bin very full because a nurse wouldnt take it away when asked and never came back. alot of ignorance happened in that place where they walk past and puposely look away so there is no eye contact for any communication.

We would like to apologise if the standard of cleanliness in the department you visited were below acceptable standards on your recent visit to our hospital.

We would like to investigate this further and raise your concerns about both the cleanliness and the attitudes of staff, with the department in question. We would be grateful if you could contact our Advice Centre on 01785 230811 so we can do this.
