"Rehab"

About: Bromley Healthcare

My father who is 97 was put into this home for some rehabilitation by the Princess Royal University Hospital.

He is very unhappy.

I have phoned a couple of times because it appears that Nuero virus is at the home and as I'm disabled I have an immune deficiency problem so will catch anything easily.

The person I spoke with was nice until I said my father was a NHS patient then their attitude changed completely and they spoke to me as if I had just crawled from the gutter.

It is nigh impossible to find anyone on duty that is supposed to be looking after him/them.

I have been trying to find out for days what is happening with him and never get a proper answer.

The icing on the top of it all is my fathers hearing aids, he has lost one.

He had them both when he left the PRU so he had them when he got to you, but now he only has one, we have searched his room, my sister in law and a friend have all searched but cannot find it, the nurse I spoke to originally said they would check the bed, but the nurse I spoke to today didn't know what I was talking about.

They were expensive hearing aids, but it seems that your staff couldn't give a dam because we aren't paying guests.

It appears that it was cleaned up by one of your cleaners so you should contact your insurers and pay for a new one.

As its loss is your fault.

I am very sorry for the delay in responding to you. This was caused by not receiving the automated link to your story.

I am concerned to read your posting. I would like to investigate this further therefore I would be very grateful if you could email me (amanda.mayo@bromleyhealthcare-cic.nhs.uk) your name and contact details along with the name of your father and his date of birth and I will be able to provide you with some more comprehensive feedback.

Once again I am very sorry

Kind regards

Amanda
