I had my ELCS last June. The midwives and doctors that assisted me before and after the surgery were all very nice so my experience there was very good. The moment I have transferred to maternity ward 3 changed everything. First of all no one looked after my baby the first night that I had the surgery as I sent mu husband home so he can also rest. I wouldn't mind but I can hear the midwife checking on the lady next to me almost nearly every hour. The day after I had the surgery the nurse got me up to go for a shower and be with for like 2mins and said they will be back and left me there. I waited and waited for the nurse to be back as I still feel a bit dizzy that time. So i had to knock on the bathroom door as loud as I can so my husband can hear me but to our surprise the nurse has shut the door locked leaving me by myself inside. My husband had to call the person thats changing my bedsheet as he was minding my baby. Up until now i always think what if something had happen to me inside that bathroom. This nurse never came back to check on me even after I was back in my bed. Nobody bothered with me and my baby in that hospital at all. They only looked anc checked on my baby when we were leaving. I tried to ask for a copy of my notes but they were charging us. I hope to hear from you soon.
