"Many thanks"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

My weekly venesections for haemochromatosis

Many thanks to Gerry and all the staff for their help in my reaching target ferritin level. This is a very impressive unit which provides a pleasant atmosphere for patients and I am indeed grateful to the team for looking after my welfare. A very professional group but always in good humour despite being so busy with patients ranging from iron overload to rheumatology to oncology, and getting busier all the time with increasing referrals.

Dear Iron Man

Firstly, I would like to apologise for not replying to your post sooner. It has just come to my attention during a routine review of Care Opinion.

I was however very pleased to read of your gratitude of the care you received. I know the staff in the department will be delighted to read of your positive experience as they strive to create a good atmosphere, whilst at the same time providing the best care they possibly can. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your views.

Best wishes.
