I was seen by the Dr at FGH on 7.1.10 my last attendence was 3.12.09. I was extremely disappointed that my clinic letter from 3.12.09 was not available at my appt (7.1.10). The Dr apologised and said that the secretary had not typed it as of yet. I understand that staff are always under pressure, but there are probably a great number of patients like myself who are at a crucial stage of their illness and need all the relevant information for the management of their care available at each and every appointment.

It is difficult to offer a full explanation without further information, we would be grateful if you could contact either our Customer Care Manager or our confidential Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). We will ensure that your comments are passed onto the people responsible for the production of patient letters to investigate further.
