"Husband's stay in Torbay."

About: Torbay Hospital

My husband was rushed into Torbay 8 days ago, unconcious, to A. and E where they diagnosed two infections and high blood sugar.

He was moved to Cheetham Hill ward and I cannot praise the staff there enough.

They were absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful, did all they could for him and he is now home and much better.

We are so lucky to have Torbay Hospital in our area, one reads such dreadful things about the NHS and other hospitals and ours is so good.

All the staff, with no exception, were amazing, always comforting, always helpful and not a sign of a grumble at all, and Cheetham Hill is a rather lively (!) ward!

Thank you a thousand time to all of them, from the dear tea person who took pity on me and gave me a cup of tea when I'd had nothing all day, to the Doctors who have put my husband on the road to recovery.
