I took my 12 year old son to Grantham ED this am with a rugby ankle injury and staff were great particularly the assessment nurse who was so professional, friendly and put my son at ease. Also the plaster technician was really helpful. Generally the experience was good staff spoke with him and not to him, they involved and respected him as well as keeping me in the loop. The waiting time was short and the BBC news kept us occupied.
