"More structure needed"

About: Inclusion UK / Buckinghamshire STARS (in partnership with Oasis)

(as a service user),

Libby treated me with respect and understanding, but the keyworker rubbed me up the wrong way and I didn't like his attitude. So that put me off the group! This key worker upset me because of his attitude, I feel that he needs to look at his attitude to women.

I would like to thank Libby and Cathy from art.

Some of the leadership styles of the groups I have attended feel a bit neutral and off hand. I'd like to experience a bit more inclusion in the first instance (I. e a quick introduction to the group), a lot more structure to facilitate participation, production and satisfaction.

Response from Tracy Braddock, STARS Service Manager, Inclusion

Thanks for your very honest feedback.

If you would like to contact me and speak directly regarding the attitude of a staff member in group, it concerns me you were left feeling this way. I will speak to all in the group work team to remind all of our core values, caring and respect should be high up on everyone's list.

I will pass on your positive feedback to Libby and Kathy, please keep engaging in all we have to offer and all the best with your recovery. Tracy.
