I was taken to the Oleaster, following suicidal behavior.
My emotionally unstable personality disorder was in a crisis state.
I sat in the courtyard at midnight, happy to myself, listening to music
Staff asked if I could come inside, I said no, because I was really quite stable at this moment.
Another member of staff joined the first one they were very aggressively demanding I come inside. I did not see why, I hadn't been shown any rules or etiquette, there was no rules on the courtyard door like previous units and in previous units myself and other patients have always sat in the courtyard, with music, as to not disturb any ward patients. It is nostalgic of the good times we had pulling eachother together with music.
However, the staff in their aggressive demeanour said "right well you can leave"
For listening to music in the courtyard.
I called them rightfully a barrel of swear words because this is just shocking. I'd have expected them to sit with me and talk to me, explain why they wanted me inside. But no.
I went and got my things together and then let me out, half past midnight to walk down the road, suicidal and hysterical, in my pajamas and the cold.
It's nothing short of a disgusting way to treat a patient in crisis. I will be following it up with the relevant authorities now I am stable.
