"A Mother's Review"

About: King's Mill Hospital

Our daughter, after tricky IVF years, had her baby at King's Mill Maternity Unit on 19th February 2016. As far as we, her parents, could see, she, her husband, and baby had first rate care: thoughtful, listening, discreet staff: clean room: pleasant surroundings; plenty of good input from services such as breast feeding, post-Caesarian care; medications; examinations.

We had to wait outside her room during doctor's examination; an on-duty nurse made us tea, despite being busy them-self. Beyond the call of duty.

Only moan: she was kept waiting for 4 hours for her epidural, despite being constantly assured "the doctor would be there in 5 minutes". Best to be as honest as possible to avoid extra worry.

Thank you.
