"nice caring competent staff"

About: St Richard's Hospital

I attended accident and emergency one morning earlier this month. Fantastic service from arrival, to my diagnosis, and to phoning my next of kin with sensitivity regarding the diagnosiis.

I was handed over to the rightful department that dealt with my problem, and again such wonderful support all round.

This hospital is a lovely place. My only criticism is ...the nurse who in my day we called auxiliary nurses, was quite noisy with chit chat on my ward where I was trying to rest!

My next door bed mate said the same thing and she had experienced them for 7 weeks!

But hey a minor detail for such wonderful accident and emergency staff!

Response from St Richard's Hospital

Thank you so much for posting these comments on this site.

We are very pleased that you felt so well cared for.

We also appreciated the constructive criticism which we will pass on to the Matron in A&E. It is important that we get this type of patient feedback as these things are easily sorted once brought to our attention and we are always reflective in our practice, in order to improve the patient experience.

Thank you.
