My review is based on my aftercare in the ward off a and e in in oldham royal . The nursing and ancillary staff were professional , aproachable , and friendly , I can't say the same for all the different consultants as they all were saying different things dismissing each others treatment and requirements. Communication is key . My utmost praise goes to a sister on the a and e ward, they were supportive and reassuring and took charge when the consultants left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, and finally the most fantastic service from a member of staff in orthopaedic outpatients dept for their professionalism . Care and even going out of their way to delivering my prescription to my home rather than missing my ambulance transport home as the pharmacy were having my 75 year old mother running backward and forwards to try and get the prescription correct . I very much appreciate things are difficult these days staffing and bed situation , but I thank these people with gratitude and the profession is very lucky to have them . Many thanks , mrs nina Lewis
